Carpet Castle is not the place to buy your flooring. The over price the material with a high mark up value, & they hire the cheapest installers they can find. Then they don't pay the installer the correct amount & never pay on time. They also do not warrenty your flooring installation for a lifetime. Most installers only give a one year warrenty. Two at the very most. After that it is mostly just normal wear & tear, so no installer is going to keep going back for free. They also don't give the customer professional measurements. The short numerous jobs & have also over measured jobs. For the price they charge that in unfair. They don't keep a timely manner either. They could take weeks & sometimes even months to finish a job. Flooring is suppose to be held at room temperature 24 hours prior to installation & they have broken windows in there warehouse so the only use the heat when the shop is open from 10am till 8pm, sometimes they will open at 8am. If you don't believe me just go to the back of the building & you will see with your own eyes. The back looks like an abandoned building. All the care about is making money for themselves. They will try to put the blame on anybody but themselves. If they tell you the warehouse messed up on the order, 9 times out of 10 it was Carpet Castle. Ask your installer how long he has worked for the company, or the salesman who measures your floor. They rob them so it is hard for them to keep anybody. Trust in the fact if you buy flooring from them, you will more then likely be unhappy with some aspect of the job. I would buy my flooring from some other dealer.

We purchased a new carpet for my daughters bedroom and suddenly had an infestation of fleas, which were concentrated in her bedroom alone after the carpet installation. (we don't have pets). When we called to let the men know at castle carpet they went on the defense and claimed that the shaw company just made the carpet and shipped it to them with in a four day time span and that they had nothing to do with it. My husband said "So let me get this straight they physically made the carpet right then and there and shipped?" "yes" was his response" We just wanted to let them know. They were mean, and promised to call us back which of course they didn't. I guess we will have to finish carpeting the house with someone else. I wouldn't suggest this company to a friend.
