I toured this facility and was very disappointed in the boarding area. The daycare facility was adequate but when I stepped into the boarding area and saw all the little cages full of trembling, unhappy dogs, it broke my heart. There are no windows in this area and it felt like a smelly, concrete prison. The owner happily said the dogs get to go out 4 times a day...like that was amazing or something. They are dogs, they should be romping around all day having fun. I asked why these dogs couldn't be running around with the daycare dogs and he said if they haven't been to daycare before they have to stay in the caged area when they are boarded…it made no sense. I would never leave my dog here.

In response to Shoga's post, She is upset because we charged her for her mistake. When she called to make the reservation, she would have been told what our hours are for a Sunday. She found us online where our hours are posted. When she arrived, she walked right past a closed gate that has a sign with our hours posted on it. The primary concern of everyone working here is the care of the dogs. You may think closing at 5pm is a little early, but we are open seven days a week. We are closed only 4 days a year so if you get back at a reasonable time, you can pickup your pet and not wait until Monday, or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday. It is unfortunate that such a nice cocker as Riley has to have an owner who thinks the world revolves around her and thinks everyone else makes mistake but not her.

the k-9 Corral came highly recommended to me by a colleague, so when my husband and I went on vacation, we decided it was worth the extra hour's drive to book in our medium sized dog there. I had called a few weeks earlier to make the reservation and had written down the hours of operation that I was told on the phone. When we arrived late afternoon on Saturday (a little after 5 pm) to drop off the dog (and well within the hours I had written down), we found the gate locked. In a panic, my husband crossed over the gate and went to seek out anyone at the kennel. He knocked on a door and was met by an extremely irritated man who told us that we had disturbed his 'rest and relaxation time' because he had to go out and let out dogs around 7 pm and again in the morning at 6 am. He was the owner. When I told him the hours of operation that I had, he scolded me for near on 2 minutes and told me I would be charged $40 dollars extra. A five star facility with a five star staff. Clean, modern and very well organized in both the check in/out and the care of your dog while there. They are not afraid to show you around the entire facility, they have nothing to hide or to be ashamed of.I board my two dogs here regularly because I have to travel on short notice for business. I never have to worry about my "kids" because I know they are in good hands.
