The counselors are very warm and give a southern sincere effort, if you know what I mean about the South. Oh, Bless them! They do care a great deal, understand the suffering you are going through, are passionate about helping, but I felt there was a need for a more professional approach to the groups and one on one sessions. I experienced unfortunate inconsistencies in their opinions and they often altered the facts to support their opinion. The director took a dislike to me, I make it a point not to take likes or dislikes in therapeutic situations. I left the program because I was wanting to move North, when that didn't work for me, I called about getting more help and they said it was written down that I left because I was un happy there. I asked for an honest explanation of why they did not want me there, and they continually kept saying, "We just want you to find a place that is a better fit for you". It's a temporary situation, my stepfather was mentally and emotionally abusive (extreme repressive) to me and mother for 10 years, the other counseling centers only handle significant others abuse issues. So I had nowhere else to turn. I asked what I did wrong, they refuised to help me make any changes that might make it easier for me to get along in the world. Just shut the door with a blatant lie, that I left because I was unhappy there. They have a lovely living facility as well. A nice place if you're ordinary, regular, don't ask me. Romneyworld? uptight people with warm hearts for those they feel are socially acceptable.,
