wonderful!

A group of 4 of us ladies had lunch there today and it was wonderful! I had quiche with fresh salad (which contained fresh greens and fruits). One lady had the lobster bisque which she said was the best soup she's ever tasted. For dessert we had fresh scones right out of the oven with raspberry jam and yummy clotted cream. And of course, a pot of fresh brewed English Breakfast tea. Not really a "guy" type place but the ladies will love it! The waitress was very attentive and the owner (with her darling English accent) came over and spoke with us several times.

Feels Like Home

My husband (who is English) and I first entered Ye Olde English Tea Room on our one year anniversary in March. He was craving a "proper tea" and we thought to try the place. We walked in and met the owner, Louise who is just incredibly charming, and proceeded to place our order. My husband was impressed all the way around with how Louise managed to get "proper ingredients" and make all his favorite goodies from home. The tea room is not fussy yet puts you in the mindset of "tea time."

Louise and her husband put you at ease in their little shop and treat you like royalty. It's a treat every time we go - and my husband likes knowing that he can get his English "comfort food" just down the road. A long plane ride no longer required!
