very sad

I am not currently a Costco member, but i called today to ask if I could enter the store and make a purchase just once today because my family is sponsoring a family in need for the holidays and the little girl wants American girl items. Costco is the only store local that has it on short notice. I wad told despite this being for a donation for the holidays that there was no way. This makes me sad. It's really too bad that Costco and it's employees do not see the value in helping a family in need and a little girl that just wants American Girl from Santa. SHAME ON YOU COSTCO.
