Hearts are alive in Christ here at Faith Lutheran Church in Lake Forest, Illinois. It is our joy to invite you to share God\ u2019s presence with us through fellowship and worship. As the world around us continues to grow and change, we seek to apply God\ u2019s Word in relevant ways to our daily lives. The doors of Faith Lutheran Church are open to all who seek to hear the Word of God. Come in, you are always welcome! At Faith Lutheran Church, we believe, preach and teach the Word of God. As sinners saved by the grace of God through Jesus\u2019 death and resurrection, we seek to love others as God first loved us. Our church joins over 6,000 other congregations as a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. We affirm the teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the Reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. Luther, and other reformers, taught we are saved by grace alone, Scripture alone, and faith alone. During the summer months, Saturday evening services are replaced by Thursday evening services at 7:15 PM. The two Sunday morning services are replaced by a single service at 9:30 AM. Thursday evening services and the single Sunday service are typically are offered from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
