These guys are great. They treated my piano as if it was their own. They were extremely professional and wrapped my piano to prevent any damage. They told me they'd be at my residence at 9:00 a.m. and they were there right on time. Also, their are competitive and their were no surprises. I would highly recommend San Diego Piano Movers!

EXCELLENT PIANO MOVERS!

These piano movers are absolutely excellent. Highly competent, efficient, and professional. I've had numerous pianos moved in the past. This piano was particularly heavy and difficult-they made it look easy. I would recommend them to anyone. I will soon have them move a very expensive, rare piano, and I have full confidence in them. BRAVO!

1st time piano mover

I just finished having my piano moved by this service (12/30/08). This was a very pleasant experience. I just moved into a new house and one of only things I did not want to attempt to bring myself was the piano. I shopped around for a good and affordable piano mover. I was reluctant to use this service because I read the bad review but I read the business response and decided to give the business a chance. After all it is only one bad review and I figure that the majority of customers that do have good experiences do not take the time to write a good review so if there is only bad review that's actually pretty good.

I am so glad that I did give this company a chance because from the beginning call that I initially made Mrs. Debbie was very pleasant on the phone & helpful. She really made sure that everything was covered and made it easy to make an appointment. Since the piano was being moved from the house I had already moved out of I didn't want to have to go to the house and sit for 2 hrs since they give a 2 hr window that they will arrive. Mrs. Debbie told me that the drivers had cell phones and asked me if it would be easier for me if they contacted me 20-30 minutes before they would arrive. That was perfect since my new house is only about 10-15 minutes from the old one.

She called me this morning around 8am as she told me she would and told me the 2 hour window but also reiterated that the drivers would call me before they arrived to give me time to get there. She stayed in contact with me when the 2 hour window was moved up a little earlier. The drivers called me and gave me time to get there & were very pleasant. They did a very good job and were very fast. They made it look so effortless. They got to my house fast and unloaded and put the piano right where I asked them to. The older gentlemen even swept out the back of the piano because as the younger gentlemen said it would be a lot more difficult to do once the piano was placed against the wall.

I am really pleased with this service. They are fast, reliable and have very pleasant workers, from the office staff to the workers in the field doing the heavy lifting. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone.

the worst piano movers ever!

I just received the worst movers I have ever seen, heard, listened or experienced! They moved my daughter's piano! They were like taking somebody else's revenge from my 8 years old daughter's piano!...I could not believe my eyes, so I was just waiting for them to say something reasonable for their obvious unprofessionalism, but they are gone already!...

My gosh! I suppose they were moving cows or bulls or something, then they got this piano business!...

It was terrible, terrible!

They had

1- No attention to the wood floors,

2- No attention the rug I put especially for the piano at the spot,

3- No attention where to put 'exactly' the piano,

4- Make more attention to my household

5- And, made 140 bucks in 3 minutes!

THIS IS NOT FAIR!

What a shame you had to write such a distasteful review about our piano movers. You could have called our office with your complaints, we are reasonable people. We have been moving piano's in San Diego County for 20+ yrs. and have many, many, repeat and satisfied customers. About your floors, our men use a rubber tired dolly, to prevent marring your floors. I'm sorry, but our men CAN NOT wear the booties to move a piano. They need good footing (traction) and leverage. They can not be slipping or sliding, someone would get hurt. They do pad floors when necessary. As far as placement of your console piano, you had my movers place it on a throw rug, which was too small. My mover said that about a half inch extended on one side, while an inch and a half extended on the opposite side. He said that they were trying to adjust the rug, when you said, "Don't worry about it". These guys do what ever adjustment they need to, they all need to be adjusted a bit. They placed your piano exactly where you told them to. You complained about $140. for a 3 minutes of work. I guess you don't realize that it took 2 men, a truck (with lift-gate, fuel, insurance, etc.) that had to drive to the pick up location, load up piano, blanket wrap it, secure it in the truck, then drive to your home and unload. Sure, our movers are fast, that comes with 18 and 20+ years of experience that our men have. Also, they do need to get some momentum going, due to the weight of a piano. I think our price was very reasonable for your short move. You made a couple of statements that I just didn't get. "moving cows or bulls"? You said, "Make more attention to my household"? What?? I think its shameful that you cn write a review like this, without ever even trying to rectify your problem with us. Debbie, San Diego Piano Movers
