I made a simple call to transfer some money from my savings to my checking account. A lady answered the phone and said her name was Dana. As soon as I told her what I wanted to do, she sighed like I was inconveniencing her and she had more important things to do. I asked her to transfer all but 10 dollars from my checking to my savings to which she responded "if I was you and you really need the money that badly, I would just close out my account". At that moment, I asked to talk to her manager, to which she resonded that SHE was the manager. I then asked for her manager's number. She quickly said the last 7 digits of the number. In Texas, you need the area code to call. I then re-asked for the number and she gave me the full number and proceeded to act like a child that I had asked for her boss's number. I had a traumatic past couple days and spent most of the money I had in my checking trying to save my puppy at an animal emergency clinic and ended up having to put her down. I spent everything I had on my dog, it is none of Northstar Bank's business to know why I need my money. Northstar bank of Texas-Corinth Branch doesn't deserve any stars.
