If you want to pay MSRP for a pair of shoes, this is the place to do so. If you want the same shoe for considerably less, I can recommend several online sources. After a conversation with the new owner, it is clear he is not interested in customer relationships but rather in maximizing profit. That's fine and his right. It will also be easy for me to take my business elsewhere. Trying to support local business has not benefited me at all here. I was pleased with the store as Tri-Running. The new owner of this business (now called The Running Store) is not providing the service or pricing the previous owner(s) did. Save yourself some money.

I recently bought a pair of Saucony Kinvara running shoes based on the analysis of how I run by the sales person there. She offered several shoes that would work for me before I chose this one. Very happy with the shoes and the service I received that put me in them.

I'm new to running so I wanted help picking the right shoe. I got moderate help and after more research not sure if I have the right shoe or not. I wish the sales person would have taken more time and showed more interest in me instead of her cell phone.

I went in here looking for running shoes for my casual running exercise program. The woman I dealt with did a gait analysis and pulled several different shoes built specifically for someone with my gait. She knew the types, brands and styles of each shoe by heart. She was completely knowledgeable of her inventory and knew exactly which shoes for me to try so that I didn't waste my time on the wrong items. And don't forget this is a specialty store. They cater to a sub-set who know what they want and need to remain injury free. And while the products are a little pricey (about $130 a pair), deals can be found so check them out. You may even learn a little something.
