I was a young transgendered person interested in implants.



I have been certified by a psychologist who specializes in gender, when I was younger.



I have been on hormones for 5 or 6 years and undergone various orther operations and have never had an ounce of trouble befor for cosmetic or gender-reassignment surgerys till now.



He never asks to see papers or speak with my psych, he simply tells me there are "reasons" and "papers" why he can't do the operation, he quickly leaves without fully explaining himself.



he rudely refused to even fully explain to me why I can't be a patient even when i've been verified by a professional. I have never had any problems with past operations untill now, it was humiliating.



He points me in the direction of another doctor. I double-checked befor making an appointment and this new doctor, the people who work there are confused as to why Dr Ralph refused me.... as are orther offices who I check with later.



I'm not quite sure if he just didn't understand, or he has never had a transgender patient befor, but that doesn't excuse his rude attitude and quick judgment without discussion.



I can't begin to tell you how I felt after he stormed out the room, I think I just stood there for nearly 30 seconds asking myself did this just really happen?



Even if I had the choice, I would not like this to be someone who was to operate on me.
