I feel the same way as one reviewer called it "A cattle market". It all seems so impersonal. Even the Doctors talk over your head, instead of to you. You don't have any more answers when you walk out of their clinic then you had before you walked in.

I also prefer a smaller clinic with more "personalized" treatment.

Receptionists were nice. You are given a number according to order, you are lined up for vitals, then you wait for your number to show up on a screen while you fill out paperwork. When your number shows up, you find your own way through the maze to your room. An assistant did walk in, in a bit, and asked a few questions. When doc came in he allowed me to ask some questions, but had no clear answers without having to refer me elsewhere. But did give me a prescription for PT. As I was walking out someone noticed I still had my clipboard with my medical history and asked for it. I have lingering medical issues and it would have been nice that they be reviewed prior to doctor interview. I found my way through the maze to pay and asked for a copy of the diagnosis (the checkout girl seemed perturbed that I asked, so I had to explain I had several medical problems and this would help me keep them straight) and was told there was none. Does the word cattle come to your mind the way it has mine??

Go to a different surgeon.

The doctor was alright but its like a cattle market. They screwed up my appt. I live in lake Charles, had all my spots in lake Charles. So I drive all the way over there for my appt and I'm told the doctor is at the Derrider office and that's where my appt was. Its a circus. Receptionist offers an apology and asks if I want to reschedule. Never going back again. Find a smaller more personable doctors office.
