My husband and I had an amazing dinner tonight here. Excellent from beginning to end. The dessert was off the hook. Highly recommend if in Laguna!!!!

We chose this reataurant for a special dinner. It didn't turn out to be so. The tuna we ordered, supposed to be seared, came out overcooked. And at $40 it should have been perfect The waiter was discourteous and abrupt when we pointed it out- so next they brought us a piece which was raw and COLD in the middle. The manager who came to talk to us was rude, he said any replacement for that food item would take an hour. He asked 20 questions about why we didn't like it and didn't apologize even once. In other restaurants when something like this happens, a dessert or a coffee is offered as a goodwill gesture. But not at Rumari. At least they didn't charge us for the uneaten tuna! I will not go back to this restaurant. The service was bad and the food (other than the tuna) was mediocre.
