I live in Houston, broke down about 70 miles from VW Plus and was towed in on a Saturday Morning. I've had my van worked on by several mechanics in Houston, but Christopher at VW Plus in Lafyette, LA, is the first person to make me feel that he really knew what he was talking about. After several previous and expensive tune ups, new coils, plugs and distributor caps, etc., the real culprit was a loose wire in the steering column near the starter switch. No mechanic had ever thought to look there! But, Professor Christopher did.

And, if you're gonna spend a few days in the Lafayette area, Chris is a great source for fun things to do and places to visit.

Wonderful experiences! I've been going here for 22 years, and I've never had a complaint! I highly suggest this place for your vw. And they have cute cats!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! A week after our vehicle was worked on here and we were charged 600+ dollars for simple work, our car began having additional problems that were NOT an issue before. We went back to talk to these people about the new problems our car was SUDDENLY having, their response was far from professional and shocking! The lady at the front desk began to curse and scream in front of our small children and then the mechanic/owner that REFUSED to talk to us about our vehicle suddenly comes from the back shop to yell horrific obscenities to us in front of our kids. The shop owner got up in our faces, he took our vehicle keys and began ripping fuses out from under our car hood. I started to video how they were treating us and the desk lady snatched my phone out of my hands, refusing to give it back, then throwing it!! She then grabbed my arm leaving marks! NO FAMILY OR PERSON should be cussed at, grabbed or there personal items snatched from them!
