after reading the reviews on here i was really a lil worried but not too worried to not book a room. I made the reservation over a month ago and called the day before i left and made sure they had it. THEY DID. We were hot and exhausted from driving from DFW (Texas) to Baton Rouge and then back to Lafayette and walked into a very clean lobby with a very polite person at the desk. They found the reservation pretty quickly and gave us our keys to #118. We opened the door and it smelled very very good for a smoking room and everything was very very clean. i checked everything the second i got there.. under the bed, the drawers, the bath tub, the floors.. everything was spotless.. even the nooks and crannies of the blow dryer were extremely clean. We had no issue whatsoever. No loud people, no rudeness, absoluetly no complaints. The best part? the a/c was already on when we entered our room so it was a pleasent relief from the humidity. The only thing that sucked was the pool was closed but then again there were thunderstorms on the way so i don't really blame them. I love this motel and would recommend it to everyone i know. As a matter of fact, we are booking another room for August as soon as i finish writing this review!!

We found the room quite comfortable and the buffet breakfast area was well stocked.

I came to Lafayette for a clinical rotation. I was by myself and the staff here made me feel so welcome. They were very helpful no matter how many times I asked how to get to different places around town. They greeted me every time I entered the hotel, even at the end of my two week stay. The rooms were kept very clean. Every day I came back to a clean room! This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!

I have been here 4 days, I have enjoyed my stay. The people are nice they service the room everyday. I noticed they have been doing some work around the hotel. Its nice to have a place to eat just next door. Rooms facing parking lot are warmer and have more sun. The other side is cooler but faces houses.

This was our second stay in 18-months at this location. It is very convenient to I10 and several good restaurants in the area (Blue Dog Cafe was excellent). The friendly, efficient staff really sets this motel apart from the others. They even take the time to write specific instructions to restaurants in the area. Rooms are clean and have the standard amenities. Breakfast includes various breads including waffles.

Really enjoy this Super 8. I have found it to be one of the best Super 8s I have stayed at. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, breakfast is tasty and pool is great. Close to restaurants. A definite recommendation to friends and family.

My family and I have stayed at the Super 8 a number of times, we have always been very pleased with our stays. It is conveniently located to the many different venues that we visit while in Lafayette. The rooms have been very clean and the staff have always gone above and beyond for us in any request that we have made. I highly recommend the Super 8 to any that have asked where to stay in Lafayette.

Safe, clean, reliable! Easy access to the highway, restaurants nearby.

I enjoyed my stay the staff was very polite. I would recommend friends and family to stay here.

FOR THE MONEY, IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER I HAVE STAYED AT MORE EXPENSIVE HOTELS IN LAFAYETTE AND FELT CHEATED AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.

I come in to Lafayette for there friendly Mardi Gras and fair near the Cajun Dome. I had a good time and enjoyed my stay here at the Super8. The people are good, and very welcoming. The room was clean and the housekeepers polite. They asked every day if I needed anything, and when I did they got it right away.

Maintenance was awesome and friendly. Would stay here again in suite 200.

My stay was good, staff was friendly. Location was good. Accessibility was somewhat awkward due to the divided highway.

I really wouldn't be writing this review if i had gone by some of the reviews on here. I am a truck driver and this is one of the best super8's I have ever stayed at. The rooms a e comfy and the crew at the front desk will go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable especially Ms Dee. I always will stay here when I drive through the Lafayette area

Everything was great there is no need to change anything just keep up the good work the staff is very friendly the rooms are clean the laundry was neat and I will be returning for another stay in the near future this year 2014
