From the initial call to our dog's discharge after emergency surgery, I experienced complete professionalism from the staff and doctor. They completely relieved all my anxieties with the care and empathy shown to me and my pet. Thank you!

In response/defense to the review from 8/29, it seems as if there is another side to the story that is not being told here. I just hate seeing one-sided slanderous reviews for any businesses. It seems as if the fact that the doctor even HAD to argue with your wife AT ALL seems to indicate she was being combative/argumentative rather than helpful in the situation. That being said, what would you expect for someone to do in that situation? It also seems like you may not have actually been there and are only hearing the one side of the interaction, which really makes this an inaccurate review. Emergencies are high stress and emotional, but being emotional in these situations never helps. In the future it seems it would be better if your wife were less argumentative/emotional and more calm.

I have never been so disgusted....how could a place not help an animal that is stray of its no accord..hit by a vehicle of a person who had no caring.....you took an oath to save lives....this kitten mattered...shame on you...Walt Whitman said it best..What lies before us...what lies behind us...is nothing compared to what lies within us. People please do not go here....they only care about your cash....

The most TERRIBLE vet experience I have EVER had in my 25 years of owning/rescuing animals. After rescuing an emaciated boxer/mastiff with burn marks on him and raw skin from where his collar was embedded in his neck, I rushed him to this clinic. it was only natural that I had questions and concerns considering the condition this dog was in. The intern/vet tech in the office was not in the least bit helpful or compassionate toward this animal and ROLLED HIS EYES at me because i was crying over the condition the dog was in. DR. MOREAU walked into the room and was the RUDEST "doctor" i have EVER come into contact with. Not only did he NOT say hello, shake my hand and my husband's hand, or show any compassion and love towards this animal, but he REFUSED to help our dog we just rescued and said he has WORSE OFF ANIMALS THAT ARE DYING in the back. I WANT EVEryone to know about how HORRIBLE this place is and the staff working there. DR MOREAU is the worst VET in LOUISIANA

great fast service

I have brought my dog here when she was having trouble delivering her puppies. they did a wonderful job and delivered two pups. another time I brought in another paw baby that had something caught in his throat. they saved my dogs life. very kind and passionate staff. I would recommend bringing your paw babies here for your emergencies.

Very Professional and Caring

We brought Poppy, our 3 year old yorkie in last night with vomiting and diarrhea. He was very listless and seemed to be hurting. When we walked in we were impressed right away. The clinic was fresh, clean and bright and the staff members were very friendly and caring. They all talked to him as much as they did us. Dr. Amy Bonin was very knowlegable and diligent in diagnosing and treating Poppy. Then kept him overnight and treated him with meds and IV's. When we picked him up this morning he seemed like a different dog, looking relaxed and a lot happier!

My mom had accidentally run over our cat's front paws with her vehicle and we were terrified that they were broken. They looked awful and we knew she was feeling terrible. Dr. Moreau looked at her paws, assured us they weren’t broken and assured us Hope would be fine. In 3 days she was acting like herself again. They were so calming and reassuring that everything would be ok. We are so greatful!
