Brought my car to Firestone to fix a grinding noise on my air conditioner compressor. They estimated the cost of repair to be $1512. I told them I couldnt afford this and asked if there was a cheaper way to fix it. They assured me it ALL had to be done.

I finally went to PEP Boys and got it fixed within 3hrs for $250. Seems to be some dishonesty going on here dont you think? All they wanted to do was get me to sign up for credit as that is the way they were doing to everyone that I saw enter their shop. What was worse was that they charged me $21.99 to write up the estimate and called it an inspection. I sure wont be going to Firestone ever again.
