Our car broke down on the interstate last week during our trip back to Indiana from the west coast. The tow truck driver got to us in no time at all and was able to tow us back and fix our van that day. The mechanic was really nice and he found that the last time we had gotten the van fixed they had cracked another part and we were lucky to have caught it before it went bad as well. An ounce of prevention is worth 500lbs of new engine.

I used to take my car to the fastest, cheapest oil change places I could find. However, after getting some other work done at Kotecki’s I took it there for my next oil change. Now I realize why the other places are quicker and cheaper. They skimp. I can’t count the number of times I ran out of windshield washer fluid two weeks after an oil change or found that the pull from my tires was due to one being low even though I just had gotten it serviced. Kotecki’s Service took their time and checked my tires (even the spare, which was below half way full!) and filled up all fluids to the top. Now, I don’t feel like I need to recheck the work done to my car when I get it back.
