Our goal at My Thai is to bring authentic and freshly prepared Thai Cuisine direct to your table. Our food is prepared fresh daily by our Executive Chef whom was born and raised in Thailand. Chef Sathin (pronounced "Saw Teen"), Owner and Chef of My Thai La Quinta, began her quest of learning to prepare traditional Thai food at the age of 8. Born on a rice farm in Northeast Thailand, she learned from her mother and father before moving to Bangkok to train under some of the finest Thai chefs at some of the largest fine Thai restaurants as a cook. At the same time she attended University to study Thai cuisine. Her dream has always been to share the true Thai experience of eating with others. She incorporates looks, smell, taste and spices by using fresh Thai herbs. For many years she has cultivated these special herbs in her own garden to learn which ones thrive and how to adapt them to SoCal. Each dish will be prepared to order by Sathin. She moved to America in 2001 and has been catering for family and friends and cooking for charity events like Hurricane Katrina and the Tsunami in Thailand. In 2015 her dream has become a reality.
