Kerry Paulson, DNP, is a certified adult nurse practitioner (ANP-C) and womens health nurse practitioner (WHNP-BC) who cares for people with urologic cancers, with an emphasis on long-term cancer survivorship care, wellness, and patient education. Her scope of care includes physical evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, symptom management, and supportive care. Prior to joining UC San Diego Health in 2017, Kerry worked as a nurse practitioner in Saint Paul, Minn. Orange County, Calif, and San Diego seeing men and women of all ages. She has over eighteen years of nursing experience providing care to patients and their families in clinic, hospital and community settings.Kerry obtained her doctorate degree in nursing practice from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing in Minneapolis. She earned her bachelors degree in nursing from Winona State University in Winona, Minn.
