My fiance and I went here for ...

My fiance and I went here for Valentine's Day with hopes of a great meal. The cost was $60.00 per plate (this is extremely high for La Crosse) so we were expecting something unique and delicious. It was 7 courses and none of them were even close to outstanding. The main entree was "tiger" shrimp, which was more like kitty cat shrimp, that was cooked about 3 times as long as they should have been and they were placed on a bed of Uncle Ben's microwaveable rice, needless to say, it was far from outstanding. Everything was between ok and bad....but the building is beautiful and the service was good minus the fact that my martini wasn't made right, I ordered dirty and I got dry. Overall, I don't regret trying it but if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have gone. Very disappointing and will not be back. Go to Digger's Sting or Kate's on State.
