River Place offers a peaceful, memorable getaway using the recreation opportunities the land has to offer, including river activities, hunting, fishing and bird watching. Canoe, raft, tube and funyak rentals are available seasonally, and are great for large groups or families and couples. Six rental cabins sleep 4-6 and come fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom, 1 queen bedroom, loft with twin beds, futon in living area, parking, TV, wireless internet, and rocking chairs on the porch. The Clinch River Conservation Retreat Center occupies a renovated historic farm house and sleeps up to 21 with twin beds in 6 rooms, 9 private bathrooms, full kitchen, TV, wireless internet, large meeting/dining room and parking. All linens and dishes are provided with lodging. For the nature-loving traveler, River Place offers a primitive fishing cabin and camping along the river (facilities within walking distance of some). The cafe and market are open daily in season for dining, shopping and passers-by.
