I recently went to your diner at 4032 N Broadway St, Knoxville - (865) 687-5432 I have been there several times and every time i go for the breakfast bar I have had the same problem. The shredded hash browns are [ swimming in grease ] By swimming I mean you can ladle it off. Each time I complained about it to my server and each time i get the same response. She said well I like them like that. at first I thought she was joking around but the last time I was in there she said flat out [ weave had this discussion before there fine I like them my way. ] As always I tell her that I would like some fresh ones light on the grease and she tells us that they are on the grill but of course they never show up. when we went up to pay. The one up front asks was every thing all right. but when I start to speak she turns away and starts talking with some one else and when i say no it's tonally ignored. This was the last time. My family and I will not be going back to this location. Some one should let your servers know that its the customers that keep the place open. not the ones who work there. I have spent over 35 years in the food service industry and in all those years I have never tried to serve that kind of garbage to any one. and employees with that kind of attitude hit the door so quick you never saw it open.

About 40 min after I left the one star feedback on this location and the same message on their home page I received a call from the store manager who seemed very interested. I explained every thing to him. He was very apologetic and said the problems would be fixed. He also invited us back. We will try it again later on and see what has actually happened. At which time we will give an update.
