I have been a patient at this clinic for 11 months now. The employees of this facility are amazing! Dr. Smelyansky is very compassionate and knowledeable in the way he has treated my back injury. Though the Veteran's insurance was not on the same page as this doctors office ( No surprise there with the VA), there is one person whom worked and fought for me to get my back injections approved, while also working to get me a back brace that I had no chance of getting approved on my own and, at no cost through my insurance. Her name is Loren and I can't thank her enough. Employees like Loren deserve to be recognized for their tireless efforts they exemplify on a daily basis. I would without a doubt recommend this pain clinic to anybody who is seeking relief from chronic pain. Call this clinic, you will be glad you did. Thank you to all the staff at The Omega Pain Clinic, Knoxville.

Dr. Igor is one of the best, most personable people I know. His integrity as a doctor is of the highest standards. From my first visit to his office, his thoughts were about how to ease my pain to increase the quality of my life. He is a one of a kind doctor. Anybody who goes to him will be blessed. Thank you to Dr. Igor and his staff.

Omega Pain / Dr. Igor are amazing..Very caring Dr. I too have relocated from the Pa. area. Have all documented need for my medication that I have been on for over 5 yrs. Initial visits went very smooth and Dr. Igor. after MRI's to substantiate my injures has been very compassionate to my needs. I would have no problem in referring him. The staff is very friendly and professional! Be prepared to be tested monthly for illicit drug abuse , as within Tn. guidelines Omega Pain is not a pill mill under any circumstances. Thank you Dr. Igor. , without you I would not be living a quality life. Highly Recommend!

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! After being on 10 mg of Methadone for 3 yrs for uncontrolled nerve pain in my legs I go in for my 1st visit and he stops it cold turkey! I had began pain management 4 years ago with a very reputable pain management doctor in Atlanta, GA who 3 yrs ago, after failed attempts to control the nerve pain in my legs, made a decision to try this drug. I have now moved back to TN. This doctor says "this is baby dose you won't have any reaction". He was very wrong!! I spent 6 days going thru terrible withdrawal symptoms. I was so sick to the point I called one of my other doctors who told me to go back to this doctor's office so he could see my condition and tell him no one stops Methadone cold turkey. My husband takes me there. This doctor all but mocks me telling me it is just anxiety like his 7 yr old son had when starting school. He said my dose was so small this reaction was impossible (well, I had this dose everyday for 3 solid years!!!). He gives me a prescription for 30 - 5 mg pills and tells me to figure out how to taper myself off them!
Not only is the doctor horrible so is the front desk. The two women sat there talking about a 3rd lady who works with them but wasn't there in regards to her bad hygiene and how often they think she showers. Then they talk about their personal lives. They are either oblivious to the fact the whole lobby can hear them or they simply don't care!!!
Not the nicest or cleanest office you will go to either! Patient beware!!! Stay away from this unprofessional uneducated "doctor"!

Dr Igor and the staff are amazing! He is truly a Kind and caring professional. So many other places just see you as a quick paycheck but not Dr Igor, he took his time to give me the best professional care I have ever seen, he truly cares about his patient's well being and good health. With his help I have been able to manage my weight and become more healthy and lead a much healthier way of life. Thank you Dr Igor!

Dr.Igor & ALL his staff are AMAZING! I've seen my share of Dr.s & Nurses over the last 14 yes I've beensick & I've NEVER came across an office like this every person in their office is compassionate,honest & caring-the type of peoplemeant to be in the hhealthcare profession! Dr Igor will actually listen to you & really try to help u! I'm so lucky or blessed to have found Dr Igor & his staff!! I could for on & on...they are just WONDEEFUL!!From Kelly in the office to the NURSE Shrilana to Dr.Igor I wouldn't go anywhere else until you've came here to Omega!!

I highly recommend this doctor to anyone that is in pain as long as your not a junkie
