My family has been going to Dr Naylor for a number of years for various orthopedic problems, including shoulder replacements, knee surgeries, rotator cuff surgeries and broken bones, and I would highly recommend him. The office staff is wonderful, and Dr Naylor is great to deal with. He often draws pictures on the paper covering the exam table in order to explain details of your problem, whatever it may be, and he is open to, and even welcomes, questions. He does not recommend surgery as a first resort, but tries other options first. He likes to read his own imaging results first to see what he can see there, and then he will look at the radiologist report, so it is a bit like having two opinions at once. Something that could be considered a negative is that he can have a somewhat cavalier attitude about surgery, almost trivializing the surgery and recovery. Otherwise he is exceptionally competent, leaving behind only small scars and often shorter recovery times.
