Feels like a mall bar (because it is)

Like a Ruby Tuesday's without the salad bar. Fake Irish artifacts delivered by a truck one day adorn the walls. Not a lot of people eat there so the food sits in warming trays all day. An occasional semi-pro band plays way too loud in the small space. The most annoying aspect is this idiotic "tradition" the patrons have in which they pass a bundle of drink straws around the bar to see how many circuits it makes. The person who interrupts the mystical journey gets indignant dirty looks from the help and the customers. I should know - I always pitch them in the trash.

dissapointed

Our first dining experience was good. My husband and I went on the recomendation of a good friend who said their "Fish and Chip's" dinner entree was great. It was Sunday night and they were out of a few menu items including the "Fish and Chip's" so we both had the "Crabarooney" (filet medallions w/ crab meat and bernaise sauce, two sides and salad). This entree was good, but for the price we expected a little larger portion. Our second visit I got the "Fish and Chips" and was very dissapointed. For $14.95 I got one med. piece of fish which was overfried, a small portion of fries and about two tablespoons of peas. My husband had the "Shepherds Pie" which was ground beef and a few peas topped with mashed potatoes which were pretty flavourless. The service both time was good and the servers were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere pleasent and uncrowded but unfortunately the food was mediocre and overpriced.
