My wife and I wanted to turn our useless backyard into a place where our kids could play. We had Greenscapes of Knoxville come in from Oct 07 to Nov 07 to address the problem. The quality of the work overall was poor and rushed.



My irrigation system is of unbelievable poor quality. In my front yard there is a pipe that is about ¼ of an inch from the ground (this is not an exaggeration). It was also left in a non-working state before they winterized it and I can’t get them to turn it back on and fix it after repeated calls.



The grading is also very poor. Half my yard is graded one way and the other half is graded the other way. I wanted a flat even yard for my kids to play in. Instead I have a lumpy mess with big seams because it was not laid correctly, and half of it holds water (for 2 months straight in the winter I had stagnant water).



They broke my deck and my fence. I fixed the fence myself which was not a big deal really but the deck was a huge safety hazard for my children. I made them sign a contract that it would be fixed within 30 days but it took over 3 months to get it fixed.



A flagstone patio was also sold to me by one a designer that was competent, but then the work was performed entirely by people learning on the job, the end result being a terrible looking patio that is uneven and unlevel – a great place for my 1 year old to trip and hurt himself.



I strongly do not recommend this company and consider it to be the worst experience with a business that I have ever had. I paid a lot of money to be this extremely dissatisfied. I hope this review helps someone make the right decision and look elsewhere.
