I used to work for ECET. I saw first hand how they treat their patients. I know it took several months to schedule an appointment & if your weren't early for bloodwork you would need to reschedule. One Dr. in particular required you to come 2 hrs. prior to your appointment time for bloodwork or he would refuse to see you. They schedule appointments either 15 min. or 30 min. apart. Not leaving enough time for your appointment & then either hurrying with the appointment or making everyone wait because they're behind. They only care about getting more patients so they get more money. They also treat their employee badly. I would recommend you see you primary care or Gyn if possible for care.

I have been a patient for several years and it always takes me months to schedule an appointment. The last time I tried, the receptionist told me that my file would have to be reviewed and someone would call me back with an appoinment time. They didn't call back. If my prescriptions expire they are never in any hurry to help me out and call my pharmacy back. I am a Type one diabetic, when I run out of isulin I get very sick. They know this and never seem to care!!!It is very frusterating when the people who are supposed to be keeping you healthy act like it isn't their problem! Unfortunatly, they are some of the only endocronology groups in East Tennessee.

Spent 6 weeks just trying to get Dr XXXXXX to review my chart. It was possible that I had thyroid cancer. When I went to pick up my records, he appologized and said that my condition was " not at the top of his priority list".This was by far the worst display of patient care I had ever witnessed. Each time I called, I was told that he hadn't looked at my file yet, and they weren't sure why he hadn't. This office needs to better communicate with it's patients if there is going to be a delay. I was left hanging in the balance for 6 weeks with no explanation as to why I couldnt schedule an appointment. By the way, I have terriffic insurance and am quite capable of paying any medical bills I may receive. No TennCare involved.
