Provided by YP.comI purchased two rolls of ProShield Landscape Fabric this spring to cover some garden areas and to control weeds. Rather than blocking weeds and fieldgrass, it acted as a greenhouse and covered the area under the fabric with a thick carpet of field grass to the extent that the growth under the fabric is actually pulling the staples out of the ground. I noticed that its density is lighter than the material I previously used, but thought it would do the job.
This product does NOT do the job it is advertised to do. For gardens, it is worthless. I do not recommend anyone purchase this product unless they intend to cover it with at least two inches of dense mulch.
