The history of Bomanite of East Tennessee stretches back to 1974 when a concrete contractor with specialized knowledge of Bomanite was needed to work on the Knoxville Zoo. At the urging of investors, local contractor Jim Killingsworth travelled to California to train on the Bomanite systems and became one of Bomanites first franchisees. Since that first project more than 40 years ago, Bomanite of East Tennessee has established itself as the regions premier provider of architectural concrete while completing local landmarks like the Chattanooga Choo Choo, the National Riverfront Walk, Franklin Square Shopping Center, and Turkey Creek Development. Our service area includes eastern Tennessee, northern Georgia and parts of Virginia.As Bomanite of East Tennessee has grown we have led the way on testing new and innovative products, techniques, and tools. We take pride in our work and know that building quality into every project is a reflection of the training and accountability of our employees, many of whom have been with us for 20 years or more.
