Worst service EVER!

It’s my own fault. I read a rating about this company prior to going that was dated a year earlier and stated that the products were good but had a little too much water mixed in the ground beef. So I hoped that thing would have improved. I bought two packages. The first was the little beef package that included stakes that were mostly fat and cartilage, ground beef packaged in 1 lbs. blocks that was good if you were expecting to have ½ lbs of ground meat after the water cooked out. The second package was ½ a pig. The second package I had to preorder I was told it would take about two weeks for it to be ready. After three weeks I called wanting to find out where my prepaid package was. I was told the ham and bacon was being cured as we spoke and it would be ready in three days. I arrived and it took them about 10 mins to find my order. They brought it out and I loaded it in the car. Just before I left I looked and had no bacon and no ham. As I was looking a worker came out with my order form and I told him I was missing a large part of my order he said “oh it’s curing”. They were about to let me leave without a large part of my order.

I went back inside and was told it would take another three days before my order, now four weeks in the making, would be ready. When I questioned the earlier conversation about it already being in the process of being cured the gal told me she didn’t actually check because she had too many orders. I asked for a refund and was given a check. I will not return to Diamond S Meat Co. As much as I don’t like the lines at D Howards I will have to purchase my products from there for now on.
