At my last appointment, I was asked how the new haircut was working, as I had chopped off 6-8 inches of hair two appointments prior - and I was honest. Instead of consulting with me and discussing goals with how to work on fixing it moving forward, Riannon became pissy. She kept suggesting that maybe I wanted to go elsewhere. I'm not kidding. After 12 years, the time she accidentally turned my hair hot pink, and regular praise.

I lost my home, belongings, and was losing my existence. My health had been deteriorating. This woman was trying to fire me.

I started crying. In the middle of the salon. Having to stroke her ego was too much. I told Riannon that she asked me a question, and I answered her honestly. I told her I wouldn't tell her the truth. She apologized to me - twice - and we moved on. She scheduled an appointment for both me and my husband, whose hair she cut, for 1/23/2016.

Tonight I received a text terminating me and canceling my next appointment, which was 1/23/16. "I just wanted to let you know I will not be able to do your hair Thursday January 23 2017. Thank you , I wish you the best. -Riannon".

The Salon used to be bustling. There was the owner, an Esthetician, two stylists, and a Massage Therapist. The MT left. Then they went through several. The Esthetician, who had been there for years, left. They replaced her with another woman who was just getting pretty good - then I learned she was leaving when I saw her post on a Facebook Group selling her stuff, and had to ask about it. She was no longer there so I couldn't have that service at my next appointment.. Adrienne, one of the two stylists left. They didn't replace her. They've never been able to keep a third stylist. So it's Riannon and the owner.

I would strongly recommend going elsewhere. Loyalty is not part of their culture - with staff or clients. Stability, in all the ways stability is important, is something to look for when people are doing things to your body.
