Caring doctor,x-ray testing and kidney stone analysis were ordered post haste. Though surgery was brought up for my condition, Medullary Kidney Disease which contributes to stone formation, I felt this was premature. I had not been ordered a KUB x-ray, we did not discuss a Lithotripsy..only surgery and hospitalization.

It is next to impossible to be treated for the pain when a stone moves, or any acute pain in most doctor's offices in our area due to those that abuse it.

I am required to jump through hoops when an episode occurs, as our state is far beyond cautious in regards to this matter. If a patient in SE TN should ever need pain medicine for a condition relating to cancer they usually are required to go to a pain clinic, until they go into a Hospice program. You literally must be dying to have compassionate care from a physician. It can appear that many doctors focus only on over prescribing other medicines, tests or surgery.

I have opted out.

Don't go to this place. Dr Reeves is either the biggest liar or the biggest idiot with a medical license in town. Bad diagnosis, inept at dealing with legitimate medical concerns...do yourself a huge favor and find another physician.
