I only had 200 cubic feet of stuff and every other company told me I was way under the minimum and would quote me for over 2 grand. Express Moving were happy to accomodate and were extremely reasonable with their quote. Everyone I interacted with was helpful and professional. Movers were fast and kept track of EVERYTHING on both sides of the country, allowing me to sleep sound knowing nothing is missingd because

The moving team arrived 3 hours late (11am) in a Penske truck with excuses about a thunderstorm the previous night.  It took 5 and a half hours to load the contents of our 2-bedroom apartment which was all previously boxed. The only dismantling necessary was that of our bed. Even with a planned 8am start, they arrived at our destination at 10:30pm, and finished unloading at 1am.  At that time, they requested most of the payment be by check, with $100 in cash.



We waited for their late arrival at our initial location before starting on the 5-hr drive ourselves, causing us to miss our cable and internet installation appointment at our destination, and further delaying installation for several days.  Although simply a matter of inconvenience, the lack of internet precluded us from attending to work-related duties.



Although polite, we were highly disappointed in their overall service which culminated in damage to many of our belongings.  There were nicks, scratches, gouges, and damage to most of our wood furniture as well as tears in our leather couch.  Our picture frames and professional diplomas were scratched, and some of our fragile boxes were crushed. One of our framed pictures is never arrived at our destination.



We contacted Express Movers and Storage 2 days later to inform them of the damage to our property, and were told to send an e-mail with the information in order to process a claim.  This was the beginning of a 3-week process during which the only response was to our initial e-mail asking for 2-4 days.  The rest of my e-mails asking about an update as to what has been done have gone unanswered.  Several phone calls also went unanswered.  Upon blocking my phone number, the phone was finally answered, and I reached an employee who told me the owner was unavailable.  I was told that a claim had been filed on July 7, typically takes 7 days, and that I would receive a call from the owner the next day.  Several weeks later, he has yet to respond to any contact. A complaint to the BBB has also gone unanswered.

Express Movers moved us last week from west chester to philadelphia . We had two pick up locations, home and storage space, before arriving at the final destination at the Towers 1) They arrived exactly on time: We needed them to arrive at a particular time (instead of giving us a window) since we had to reserve the elevator at the Towers for a particular 3 hour window. They were very accommodating, very professional and arrived exactly at 9 a.m. 2) They treated our belongings with care and respect: They were careful to load the truck well - no crushing light boxes with heavy boxes, etc. I would use them again.

I Would Use them again they did a great job all 4 guys were great.

I used Express Movers 2 times in the last 2 week and both time they were on time and the job got done quickly, i will use them again in month when my house in Philadelphia is ready.

i.e., A loOmar was our team lead for my Saturday move. They arrived 10 minutes early, called me in advance, and were so meticulous packing everything. Unloading was a breeze because of their attention up front. But before that ever happened, I worked with Melody in the front office to schedule the move, and handle the price quote. She was careful to provide the maximum the move would cost up front so there would be no surprises---as well as a detailed cost sheet for supplies, labor, and transit. My friend recommended this company to me and judging by how hard I have had it in the past when it came to movers I was sceptical that these guys would be much better..... Thankfully I was very wrong.... I rang their office to book for someone to come out to my place and view my stuff...I have done the over the phone stuff before and it is never accurate. I figured getting a written quote would be more full proof. The girl I spoke to on the phone had a great accent and was so pleasant and helpful I already started to feel at ease.... The General Manager, Fred, came out to view my place and he was courteous, professional and really friendly.....my shoulders are relaxing a bit more.... I still wanted to be price conscious so I had gotten 3 other estimates and Express price was pretty competitive... I booked my move with them and got a really efficient follow up call detailing everything that was involved with the move and also got an email which confirmed everything to me....everyone really impressed me with their professionalism. Then the fateful day arrived and I could not believe the level of service I received. Second to none and so efficient the guys were friendly smart and capable. As anyone that has moved before knows it is one of the most stressful things to undertake and these guys just really blew me away with the service they provided. Fantastic.

It was Pleasant to deal with the guys at Express Movers, We had them for 5 hours for junk removal and they cleaned the place up.

One of the best companies that it dealt with, Fred and the guys moved my 4 bedroom yesterday, and they did it with a professional matter.
