As the Pastor of Maranatha Baptist Church I was saved in a military work overseas in Germany. It would be several years later in 1993 before I surrendered to full time ministry out of the First Independent Baptist Church in Wiesbaden, Germany. I later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the Louisiana Baptist University. After three years as an associate pastor God placed me in the pastoral position at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Killeen, Texas on the 6th of May 2001. One must truly repent, and put their faith in Jesus Christ. Acts 20:21, Romans 10:9-10, and Ephesians 2:8-9 We believe that once one is truly saved they are eternally secured. Ephesians 4:30 We believe that salvation is offered to all of mankind. I Timothy 2:6, I John 2:2, and II Peter 3:9 We believe in the triune Godhead (The Trinity). They are co-equal in the persons of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19 and I John 5:7-8 We believe the Bible (Old and New Testament) is the inspired Word of God and is without error. II Timothy 3:16 and II Peter 1:20-21 We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ and the Word of God is the sole authority in which the church is governed. Colossians 1:18
