I purchased a 2012 Toro Zero turn mower from them. I've had it a total of 2 months. Every time I have used it Something has happened to it. The 2nd time it broke down,i went in to price out a part and was told by the parts guy that the part I needed went to a 2003 Toro Zero turn... No wonder it was breaking down...it is 9 years older than what the saleman stated... I brought that up to the owner, and he stated he believes his employee over a long time customer. I am a partially paralyzed person on limited income. My legs are weak and only partially work,so the Zero turn would have been great. Farmers Exchange has a trade in your old lawn mower (clunker) program. I believe I was sold an old clunker that was traded in. I believe the salesman misquoted the year of the mower and lied to his boss to cover his own butt. Customer service is not their concern once you give them your money. Buyer beware!

don't buy used equipment from farmers exchange! I purchased a 2013 toro mower with a new engine. Sales man stated that I could save $1000 by not going with a new one since this one had a new engine and was only 3 years old! After the first use they had to replace the brand new engine because the head was cracked. Sent it back but when it was either in the shop or delivered the weld was broken on the exhaust. Well guess what the lawn mower was a 2003 model! So far we have not been able to mow the yard once without a problem. After receiving the mower back after fighting to have them fix the muffler THEY broke the belt to spin the blade broke bought a new one figured it was just a fluke. out the new $70 belt on and after mowing for less than 5 minutes the brand new belt broke again. They had brought my mower back once again with another new problem! Keith the owner tells me not his problem was sold as is and that his sales person wouldn't have said it was a 2013. Well folks look up prices for 2013 toro mowers and you will find the price we paid. $1500 now look up a 2003 model hmmmm. Kinda fishy. BAD BUSINESS!!!!!! Don't get swindled like I did!

We purchased a refurbished lawn tractor from Farmer's Exchange. Right after we started using it, we had a problem with the deck belt breaking. Replaced it w 1 from Farmer's & that one broke in less than an hour. When we went for a replacement, thinking they would stand by their product, they were rude, implying that it was an old belt. They did not check their records to see that we had bought it just a couple days earlier. They told us the problem could be with the pulley, so today we checked the pulley, only to find that it was just sitting on the tractor deck, not attached in any way at all. When I spoke to Keith at Farmer's Exchange, he told me that since we had bought it used, there was "absolutely no warranty." I understand that there is no warranty, but we bought a refurbished lawn tractor, and this was clearly not refurbished. So we have paid over $85 for two belts and will need to pay another $40 for a pulley to get a lawn tractor running that was NOT refurbished at all.

I have been a customer of Farmers for a very long time. You won't find a business that gives their customers better service. Every time I shop their they are very personable and knowledge. They do business the old fashioned way and they earn your trust. Great selection of lawn and garden equipment. Love the selection of plants and garden trinkets. The business world would be better off with more business like "Farmers Exchange.
