Bob has always enjoyed engine work, building engines and machine work. Bob opened Blitz as a speed shop on February 7, 1970. After a few years he moved to a bigger facility and included full service repair. For many years in Kennett Square it was the who's who of auto repair shops for the clients that they served. In 1984 he moved Blitz Automotive to its current location at 465 E. State Street. It has remained a full service auto repair and speed shop, including PA State & Emissions inspections. In 1991 he added a full service machine shop for in-house, as well as do it yourselves, and opened service to other auto repair shops.
