So, I booked a party for my 8 year old daughter at Sparkles today for the 31st. I was told they don't book parties on the 31st. The female then asked me to hold and proceeded to explain to me that the 31st would be OK. I paid the $100 deposit and was waiting for a confirmation. After reveiwing my confirmation, I noticed it was booked on the 1st instead. I reached out to Sparkles and Marty the General Manager answered the phone. I explained the situation and was told that it was not his problem. A bit irritated at this response, I asked him to repeat himself, and he did. I began to ask him what of business and customer service was this when he told me to shut my mouth. I asked for his bosses information and he refused to offer it. And now, I can't cancel the reservation due to all of the invites already emailed out and confirmations received. What the hell happened to things being about the kids? What a jerk. Can't wait to meet good 'ol Marty.
