Very friendly and do great work! Both my dogs seemed very happy there! Plus both Golden’s were done over an hour early!! It’s an easy drive to the business and easily located. I’ve definitely found our new groomer!

Over a year ago my dog and cat were boarded at Champs and Tramps over the weekend. I was told I could pick her up on Saturday when the keeper came to let them out. I got home early (1pm) and left a note on the door. Nobody showed up until 9:30pm!!!! My dog’s nose was swollen and bloody from her trying to get out of her cage. I had to get my own cat out because the keeper was allergic to cats. REALLY?!? I called the following Monday to make a complaint, thinking Judy would want to know her keeper didn’t show up all day to let the dogs out. Instead, SHE yelled at ME about not having enough help and needing to get away on the weekends. Wow. No “Hey, I’m sorry your dog was injured.” NOTHING. I said “Screw you!” and hung up, which was wrong, I know. I also wrote a negative review on Yahoo, but after about 3 weeks I took it down, and eventually went in and apologized (even though it wasn’t MY burden) and had my dog groomed there (she IS a good groomer). When I went to pay and they pulled my grooming card out, I noticed psycho-looking lettering scribbled across it that said DO NOT GROOM OR BOARD THIS PERSON’S DOG OR CAT!!!! I let it go b/c apologies had been made and it had been written before that. (But it seriously looked like a crime scene ransom note scrawled in capital letters). NOW...a YEAR later, after several visits for grooming, I seriously thought this was behind us. I took my dog to be groomed and Judy thanked me for my Yahoo review. I said “You’re welcome” because I thought I must’ve replaced it with a more positive one about her grooming or something. However, one of the young girls working there thought she read my review recently. HER attitude towards me was very rude at that point, too. I asked the girl what the review said because I had ended it with a noteworthy one-liner that is pretty unforgettable, in my humble opinion. She couldn’t tell me one word of the review. NOT ONE. So now, Judy and her young minions were verbally (passively-aggressively) insulting me like a pack of dogs (no pun intended). Still, JUST IN CASE, I apologized AGAIN (even though it was not my burden STILL), and hurried home to ensure the review was nowhere to be found. I checked every possible way to see if it had cached by accident from a year ago, etc., but it was deleted and gone, just as I already knew. I called them back and they didn’t answer my call, even after 20 rings. I hung up and used my son’s phone to call and they answered in 2 rings. CHILDISH!!! I’m out of apologies for this self-righteous staff of people. They monopolize Noble County with grooming business, so I guess they think that gives them the right to treat customers like crap. When confronted with wrongdoing, they accuse the customer or yell until you just go away. To top it off, when I got home with my dog, my older son pointed out that she had two glaring bald spots towards her backside. Judy knows how to groom. I believe they were done for spite. Or...she just did a poor job and should refund a portion of my money. I’m sure she’ll come up with an excuse, but it doesn’t matter. I paid FORTY FIVE DOLLARS for a simple, non-artistic summer trim and nail cut, and instead I got two bows, a bandana, a trim that was less than professional around her stomach, and the bonus of two glaring bald spots. Now, to repeat my one-liner from my previous, deleted negative review from a year ago: I wouldn’t take a pet rock to this place to be boarded. And now, this year, I’d like to add: or groomed. In fact, I’m paranoid she harassed my dog if she’s childish enough to put bald spots on her purposefully and has such anger issues. This is the poorest customer service I have ever received. If you care about your dog’s well-being, travel out of Noble County and go somewhere that treats customers with respect.
