We booked a carriage ride for my daughter's birthday. I booked in March as was told 100.00. I called 2 weeks before the even in June to confirm. I called 6 times before I was called back. Then I was told they did not have the reservation and they did not offer rides on that date. During the conversations with David the owner I was told to "speak" and he raised his voice several times. I explained that I did not understand what I had done to cause him to talk to me this way. So, I had my husband call, he talked to him the same way. Finally he agreed for 150.00. But during the time he told my husband he did not know what we wanted he was not "IBM" and talked in a very condescending tone. There is absolutely NO WAY I would ever recommend any to this establishment. Absolutely a horrible experience. When I finally canceled because I was tired of the drama taking away from my daughter's special day, this is the email that was sent to me.

"This is actually why we require a deposit. Our driver has arranged for a

sitter and has braided and bathed the horse ready to go out tonight. Your

husband agreed to the regular price of $150. So thank you again for nothing

By the way, I had no problem with paying the deposit if I could have just had someone return a call so that I could do so. What small business owner speaks this way to potential customers? I guess it is one that does not need business. As you say David, "thanks for nothing."
