My Husband and I had a lunch date at the Chili's in Kemah this afternnoon. I have Reward points that I needed to use up and had gotten a Chili's gift certificate for Christmas that I thought would be great to treat my husband to lunch. Wow, was I in for a big surprise and not in a good way. We were seated promptly, though there was no one to great us (there usually is), We waited about 10 mins for out menu and to order drinks, that unusually long but we didn't mention anything about it. The restaurant did seem kinda busy. We ordered and was chit chatting waiting for our soup and salad, we kept waiting, after another 10 mins the waitress offered that she would be right back with out soup and salad. Another 5 minutes went by and we asked her about it in which stared at me like I had a third eye and rudely said "I told you it would be out when it's ready" My husband explained that we had been waiting quite awhile and she had just said she'd be right out with it. She then turned to him with that 'look' and said even more rudely " I'm busy. I told you it will be out when it's ready" I looked at her and said cancel my order her response was "Good, I'm glad your cancelling". We were not rude to her just asking where our food was as we felt (but did not mention) that we were being ignored and over looked. When I talked to the manager she said she would 'talk' to the girl. My only regret is that I was so upset at being treated like that I did not get the server or the managers name. My next step is to file a complaint with corporate. I don't want anything from Chili's I just want other people to NOT have their lunch/dinner/date ruined by a rude server. My recommendation find another Chili's. There are too many restaurants in Kemah than too have to put up a servers rudeness!

Almost always a horrible experience. I'm a huge fan of Chili's because they have a great menu and are close to my home. However I've gotten to go food from here at least 10 times and more often than not my order is wrong and if I'm lucky enough to notice before I leave I have to wait 30 minutes to get it corrected. This weekend I decided to go with my wife and two year old hoping that the service inside would be better. We were the first people in there and even though servers saw us it took several minutes to be approached and shown to a table. We were the first table in the restaurant when it opened and the waitress came to the table after we had been there for 5 minutes. She got our drink order and took a few minutes to get back to us. When she took our order she wrote everything down and we asked if she could get the kids meal out ASAP. By then other tables had been seated and had ordered. These table received their food long before the kids meal made it to the table. When she brought out the meals my burger did not have the cheese on it and my side's were missing. When I informed her she said she didn't know what happened but it was supposed to be on there. I showed her it obviously was not. She said she would go to the kitchen and take care of it. She disappeared for ten minutes and then I kid you not came back to the table with a slice of cheese on a plate. I looked up at her in absolute shock. I asked her to bring a manager who assured me he would fix it. I told him of my previous bad experiences and he had no reply for me. By the time they got me a fixed burger we had a sleepy two year old and my wifehad finished her meal. I asked for our check and my burger to go because we needed to leave. It was an absolute mess. The only credit I can give is to Macy the bartender. When I've eaten with her in the bar the food, drinks, and service are excellent.
