Rover Oaks took RJ, my beautiful foster dog for several weeks. He was pulled from a kill shelter and needed a place to stay before he went to Wisconsin for his forever home. He loved it there and had a great time. He entered the Lodge & Learn program and had a blast. The folks there were very nice to him and he looked great when I picked him up. I highly recommend Rover Oaks.

Pet owners....stop your search for places to board your pets. Rover Oaks is THE place! Safety, spotlessly clean, caring, loving, understanding of animals and their needs, attention to individual requests by the owners, and a seamless transition back home. These are but a few descriptions of Rover Oaks Boarding. Do not hesitate to visit....you will receive a completely open tour of the entire facility to see where your fur baby will board.

Rover Oaks is an absolutely fantastic facility!!! The daycare staff are phenomenal (specifically Jill and Darren). No doubt my dogs agree. I have a young Lab and a Beagle. Every time they attend daycare, I am guaranteed tired dogs in the evening. My lab is a ball addict and the Rover Oaks staff feeds this addiction ALL day (I say this happily – bless their souls!). Depleted canine energy means a more relaxed evening for the humans. The Rover Oaks daycare staff is genuine in their care, concern, and affection. The only downside is cost. While the boarding rates may be competitive for the area, the daycare/daycamp rates are not (for Houston – yes; Katy – no). Our dogs attend Rover Oaks one day a week, but spend the remaining days (weekends, too!) at our beloved Waggin’ Tails. While Waggin’ Tails cost $20 per day (both dogs), Rover Oaks cost approx. $53 per day (again, both dogs). Additionally, Waggin’ Tails includes one free bath per week and discounts on boarding. While the indoor facility is beautiful at Rover Oaks, if you’re looking for outdoor attractions for day care – Waggin’ Tails has several acres, plus swimming ponds – great for summer heat. So why do we even send our dogs to Rover Oaks if Waggin’ Tails is so wonderful? The staff’s devotion to the individual needs of the dogs. My lab loves to play ball and I know the staff are always playing with her! Waggin’ Tails, I cannot live without. Rover Oaks, unfortunately, I may have too due to cost or reduce our attendance. The rates are just too high. As multiple business owner ourselves, we ALWAYS value and appreciate praise AND criticism from our customers. I hope Rover Oaks feels the same. Your dedication to service is unbeatable, and we thank you immensely for that.
