Finger on the Scale. I ordered a pound of the turkey meat, they do offer there meats by the pound although not advertised on the menu. I was given the meat in a small soup container... I walked out thinking it seemed light for a pound..



I took a 16oz can at home and compared to the weight of the turkey felt very light in comparison.



Called manager went back and he took meat into the back room and said that yes it was light on the weight and he would add more turkey meat.



..By this point with all the hassle and the outrage that they are NOT weighing the meats they sell by the pound I demanded a refund.



How many other customers have they sold short too?

In search of a good lunch and a casual setting, I keep going back to this deli. Each time, I order something different and have yet to be pleased. Besides the fresh and sufficient salad bar and the huge baked potatoes stuffed with your favorite choices of toppings, I am at a loss of what is offered here. As a long time patron of Jason's Deli in other Texas locales, I tried this one. What I thought to be their famous sandwiches, such as the muffolatta and their Reuben signature choices leave a lot to be desired. The muffolatta was dry and lacked in taste, possibly because this deli scrimps on the olives. The reuben I had today was actually so dry, I could not eat it. No russian dressing, so I guess they thought it would not be noticeable if they slapped a little spicy mustard on their instead..YUK. Oh, and the chocolate icecream had no flavor. COME ON KATY LOCATION....shape UP!!! YOU ARE ALL WE HAVE FOR FRESH DELI EATERIES>>>> I have faith in you!!

Spuds that are packed with meat or just about whatever you want are why we go to Jason's Deli. We would go more often, but they never offer discounts, and it can be pretty costly when you have 4 people.
