This place will not give you a sales price unless you put down 5000, which will not be returned if you change your mind, or something happens in life and you can’t move forward with your purchase. Then when you attempt to get your money back... memory is lost, paperwork disappears... people forget who you are.. they make it impossible! And pretty much force your hand to buy from them! I cannot believe that people have no heart and feel good about themselves stealing from hard working people! I can understand keeping a percentage because the sales guy worked for ya, but throwing away 5000 is a killer!!!

Provided by YP.comThis is the most dysfunctional business I've dealt with in a very long time. The various departments don't communicate with each other unless there is a crisis. Their flag waving motto under the porte-cochere doesn't seem to mean anything to them.
Details: bought a new Grand Design toy hauler at the 29 August 2016, two weeks to pick it up, two weeks in my possession, returned for repairs. Returned to me, 10 weeks later.
The workmanship in general was shoddy. They didn't know how to install the hitch correctly resulting in a 25 degree difference from the front of the trailer to the back.
Replacing the warped toy hauler ramp, they left out screws so that the gates could not open for access to the ramp.
Back side door didn't latch. So the fix was just to move the jam plate. Still doesn't latch. Floor tile replacement started peeling up from the edges as soon as the living room slide out went out after they replaced one cut out area of the tile rather than the entire area.
Absolutely no quality control. And no one takes responsibilty for their workmanship or better yet, lack thereof.
It required documentation and numerous calls to Grand Design and Lippert manufacturering to get my trailer back.
In Texas, you're locked into the dealership for warranty work, this means being locked into a dealership that could care less about service after the sale. In addition to which, be prepared to be lied too about repairs, given little or no information about why it takes so long to get repairs done, and given the line that it will be ready today or tomorrow at the latest. Which didn't happen in any timely fashion.
Don't buy the extended warranty at Holiday World, you'll be locked into them for the work. It's a dealership service warranty. Good Sam warranty goes with the trailer not the dealership.
All the bad reviews are true.

Provided by YP.comHoliday Worlds is the absolute worst! We had our trailer in for service in September 2016 for 3 weeks. We had to have our floor replaced due to a slide-out seal causing a leak, AC replaced, and an insurance claim for scraping a tree. The outside repair went well, but the inside repairs and AC installation was horrific.
1. They damaged parts on the toilet while replacing the floor, which did required an emergency call out on vacation to have fixed. They did reimburse us after harassing them for weeks and getting the service manager involved, Mr. Rogers.
2. They didn't bother to install the furnace correctly to the AC unit when that was replaced. Never had it corrected. We sold our trailer and bought a new one, so we never have to deal with them again!!!!
3. The trailer was left filthy after the repairs.
4. The slide out was adjusted to correct the issue of leaking when open. They did not correct the issue of it leaking when closed. We had to wait 2 hours while they corrected that. Wouldn't you think that they would of made sure it worked both ways?
5. They tried to charge us for items without confirmation. They did take that off, but who does that? I don't think it is OK to spend my money without asking.
6. They don't return calls for days and never respond to emails. My guess is they don't want the lies they tell in writing!
NEVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE THE WORST.
They made promises at the time of purchasing and tried to not follow through. It took me 2 months to get them to do the things they promised. You should never have to become a crazy person to get things you were promised or to have service done correctly.
If you want to buy a trailer or 5th wheel go see Don at A Great Outdoor RV Center. He will show you how the purchase should go and provide you with the most outstanding Customer Service. It is worth the drive to Canton!

Provided by YP.comHoliday World of Katy pulled through - I bought an Airstream 22FB and had some minor friction with the financing dept., however, they pulled through and the deal turned out great. We had a good experience with all of the sales staff - and we are really enjoying our new Airstream!

Provided by YP.comBought 2 rvs from the Katy branch. The used motorhome had an electricity issue. I drove it over to Holiday World in Katy, after which the power inside & steps started working - so they said they couldn't service it since everything was working. There was something wrong, so I had to self-diagnose it myself and told them to check the batteries, service the generator and check the transmission fluid. I also had them reattach a mirror. They charged me $608 and said the batteries were fine. As soon as I left, the mirror swung out to where I couldn't see. They charge $175/hour for each line item, even if it only takes a few minutes to do something - and then they don't fix it. Also, they make you self diagnose the problem. They said they didn't know what was wrong because it didn't have a computer in it, and that is what I get for buying a 22 year old motorhome. I have bought 2 rvs from them, but that is the last money they get from me. Buyer beware.

Provided by YPmobileI have a 2012 passport that i bought new and also bought an exstended warrinty witch cost an extra $24000 and i have had a triable experience with these people. They promise the world when buying the camper but when you need something fixed the runaround starts. I brought it in to get a leaking roof fixed and the ac stopped working. I called after the 15 th time I finally got an answer that it was ready so I took off work drove an hour to Katy and when I get there they did NOTHING. They said the roof would not be covered under warranty and they couldn't find anything wrong with the ac. So I had to hold their hand show them what it was doing and now their saying the inverter is out. Now I have to leave the camper again and hope this time it gets fixed

Provided by YP.comThey kept are $5000 deposit and owner or management will not returns my call . Me and my family have called over 10 times and owners seems to hide behind his secretary. Management will not return our calls we were located in California so have made .. I have filled with DMV and ft bend and my trips to try get refund. Either they cant find the file or management / salespeople have been changed around. I am in the process of filing through all avenues needed to in order to collect. My advice is to never trust this company they LIE and take money from hard working people.... rene 281 451-1864
