Despite going to numerous upscale salons, my hair was a wreck. It was so bad the front sides were broken and resembled a mullet. Prior to coming to the Salon, I got hair extensions from another salon. Not only did I spend a horrific amount of money but my hair still looked terrible. I was desperate. I had tried every hair care product and salon in KC. Nothing was working until, I discovered the Salon. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by friendly staff. Then, I met Nicole. WOW.....She's AMAZING. I have very dark hair which was various shades of blonde and fried. Upon my first visit, my hair was a little below my ears and shorter in the front. I have been going to Nicole for almost 2 years and my hair is now below my shoulders, healthy and a beautiful blonde! THANK YOU NICOLE

My experience with The Salon has been wonderful! Nicole has done my hair for nearly 5 years and just recently applied HotHeads extensions for me. They are great! So natural looking and no damage done to my real hair. I don't live in Kansas City but I make a point to drive an hour and a half to have my hair done there because I KNOW they'll do a great job and always take wonderful care of their clients. The salon is trendy, fun, and very clean, and the stylists are constantly continuing their education to stay current and practice their skills!

I love this place!! Go see NICOLE she gave me the best haircut and highlight EVER and she even showed me really cute ways to style my hair at home! very fun environment :)

I have been a client at The Salon for several years. I look forward to every visit. I have always been impressed with how comfortable the staff makes me feel when I am there. Everyone goes out of their way to make each visit very enjoyable. I have had my hair cut, colored and styled by Shane many times and have always been pleased with the results. I am greeted when I walk in the door by Laura who goes out of her way to make sure I am comfortable during my entire visit. On my last visit, I was sure to mention to Gene how obvious it was that his staff worked well together and enjoyed their jobs. If you are looking for a new experience in Salon care, I highly recommend The Salon!

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS... OUR BRIDAL PARTY HAD HAIR AND MAKE UP DONE AND I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ON HOW THE HAIR AND MAKE UP TURNED OUT. I GIVE THE SYLISTS 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD. TOO BAD THE OPERATIONS MANAGAER HAS LITTLE TO NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. SHE MADE US FEEL LIKE WE WERE A HEADACHE TO HER. OUR DEPOSIT WAS SUPPOSED TO APPLIED TO EVERYONE IN THE BRIDAL PARTY'S FINAL COST AND SHE SEEMED DISGUSTED. WE WEREN'T ASKING FOR FREE HAIR OR MAKE UP, THE $ WAS STILL GOING TO BE PAID WE JUST WANTED EVERYONES DEPOSIT APPLIED! EVERYONE PAID DIFFERENT PRICES. IF YOU WERE BALD YOU WOULD STILL PAY THE SAME PRICE AS SOMEONE WITH LONG HAIR FOR AN UPDO! WATER OR COFFEE WAS OFFERED, BUT THERE DEFINATELY WAS NO CHEESE OR FRUIT. YOU HAVE TO BRING THAT YOURSELF. LIKE I SAID THE STYLISTS WERE AWESOME, BUT NOT THE PLACE FOR GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. MY ADVICE, GET PRICES IN WRITING OR YOU'LL END UP PAYING WHAT SHE THINKS YOU SHOULD PAY.

I'm new in town and had been looking for a new hair salon. After reading a couple reviews for The Salon, i decided to try it out and asked for Corie as my stylist since she was mentioned in 2 of the reviews. OMG. Now I know why she was mentioned by name. This girl did a freaking fabulous job on my locks and I'm now excited to say that I have definitely found my "home" salon!!!

I had my hair both cut and colored at The Salon today and had a wonderful experience! Laura greeted me and made me coffee and everyone was super nice. Corie was my stylist and she was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I came in with dull, damaged, split hair with lots of old, faded box color in it. I left not only with BEAUTIFUL hair color, but my hair looked and felt a million times better. I honestly couldn't believe it was my hair! She was also super friendly and offered tons of great hair care and styling tips.

I also had my wedding party do their hair with The Salon. The Salon staff and owner worked with me on numerous occasions to ensure that our schedule and needs were in order and met. On the day of my wedding, the stylists were on time and ready to do a busy day's work. I even had a couple of bridesmaids who requested changes to their hairdo's and the stylists were more than happy to make sure everyone LOVED their look. I still have people ask me who did my hair for my wedding! My mother, who I would deem the hardest woman in the world to please, fell in love with The Salon, its owner, and stylists. When she comes to Kansas City she promptly schedules an appointment! On a more personal note, I have been so happy with The Salon for my more routine hair cuts and colors. Everytime I come, I am greeted with a cup of coffee by Laura and everyone (manager, hairstylists, receptionists) is warm and friendly. I strongly recommend the Salon!
