In the past, this church has been not well attended, all the congregation sat in the back and the organist didn't count time for the music. Recently, I moved to KC and St Anthony's Parish. A new priest who speaks Spanish as a native speaker, is welcoming and friendly and has breathed new life into this church. The first time I visited this church, the petitions were read in English, Spanish and the language of Vietnam. A new organist/pianist counts time and plays well. There is a cantor with a fine voice, but most of the people seem to be afraid to sit anyplace but in the back which is typical of churches not only in this one. What a wonderful sight and sound to see and hear from this newly , lively church
