My nose piercing was done by Melissa. She was awesome!! She's very knowledgeable, made me feel comfortable and so quick that it was done before I knew it. This girl is great at what she does!!

Clean, open area shop with cool people. I'd recommend Shawn for some nice custom body art.

Man this place is poppin ! I came in last week to get my ears pierced and it went pretty fast , I was in the shop for about 30 mins. John Monks Revelations Tattoo is the best place to get Tattoos and Piercings......Period!

John Monks Revelation is hands down the BEST tattoo shop in the northland ! I recently had my nose pierced by Melissa the piercing artist, and had such a great experience I will be going back this week for my tattoo .

As a ongoing customer of John Monks' Revelation Tattoo for many years, I have gotten all my tattoos done by John himself. Everytime I go into the shop and I am treated like family. John does such a great job on my tattoos and I keep come back for more. With 60%of my body cover in his Art I have a great time showing them all off. John Monk has made a great name for himself in Kansas City and Im right with him. If you have received any work here leave your feedback. I'm sure they are alll GREAT.

I had the BEST experience at John Monks Revelation!!!! I went in for my first body piercing ever and the girl who did my piercing was FABULOUS!!!!! She made me feel so comfortable , everyone in shop was so friendly and helpful. I will be telling everyone this is the place to be.

I saw all the review on Yellow pages about John Monks' Revelation Tattoo and had to write mine. They are pretty good guys their. John Monk and his artists are very professional. I had a back Tattoo done there and its still has great color after the many sessions of laying there. It turned out great. I posted it on my Facebook acct got many "Likes". I'm sitting in the shop @ John Monks' Revelation Tattoo shop , getting my Nose pierced right now. This girl really do know whats up. I had to wait about 10-15 mins and i was in with the piercing Artist Melissa. She was wonderful. She knew i was a bit scared but about 5 mins later ...it was done and I am so happy. It looks really good. Totally worth it. You Rock John Monks' Revelation Tattoo!

So today I went to John Monks' Revelation Tattoo. I would have to say, out of all my tats, my new tattoo was great. The colors were great, The lines were clean, the service was amazing. These guys really know what they are doing. So if you were wanting a new tattoo, You really need to check out Revelation Tattoo. Their very affordable, and VERY , VERY professional.

My girlfriends and I went to Kansas City and we decided to get Tattoos. With so many Tattoo places in KC , Everyone caught saying Go to "John Monks' Revelation Tattoo". So when we walked in, the manager there helped us thur the whole process.Picking out all our crazy tattoos. We loved the service, Artists and the shop is so fancy. Diffentely the best place I've ever been. Next time I'm in KC. We WILL be getting another Tattoo. Thanks John Monks' Revelation Tattoo KC! We love you , the girls in Dallas!

Last weekend I got the best tattoo @ John Monks' Revelation Tattoo, its off North Oak and 72 street. John Monk did my tattoo himself. He was very professional , Opened everything in front of me and I was so relaxed by the time he started. It was 2 hours smooth sailing. It my Tat was done I was Way impressed. Thanks John Monks' .... I like he is the best in the Kansas City Area.

I've just left John Monks Revelation Tattoo shop and I must say I not only got the BEST tattoo EVER , the customer service was above and beyond anything I received from other shops when I was loooking around. I was greeted by the owner John Monk , who was not only very professional but also has a way of making you feel extremely comfortable and uhm..... I guess like family !!!!! It was a great atmosphere and I will be telling EVERYONE!!!! this is THE SHOP.

JOHN MONKS REVELATION TATTOO is a professional and friendly shop. I have had 3 tats done at this shop. I own my own business and like the way John Monk runs a tight ship. Everyone is friendly, customers going over ideas for their dream tattoo have lots of resources. There is no TV playing, no music blaring, no distractions from me as the customer. Ink is a permanent thing and I want mine to be the best. I want the focus on me and that is what I got. Clean and nice shop. Beverages available. My tattoo was a 3 hour deal and never once did I see anything but satisfied customers and happy people. JOHN MONK is a very talented artist. This shop has it all, cloths, jewelry, piercing and painting along with excellent tattoos. JOHN MONK has been doing tats for 20 years and has taught many of the artist in KC. Melissa is the receptionist, she has a beautiful smile and is able to answer any questions. JOHN MONK is the only artist to use.

Read all the reviews online and it Seemed like a good place. Went in a met with a woman that seemed to be a manager and she was very friendly. However, when I said I wanted my tattoo she instantly hooked me up with an artists without asking about my design or seeing his portfolio. I then met with the artist for a whapping 2 min While he was tattooing someone else and he vaugly glanced at my work and said he could do it. But I researched him online and read more reviews and he seemed like a good artists. Well, Rhett may be a good artist but it seemed like he didn't give a sh** about my tattoo. I told him it was my first time and her offered no reassurance or kind words, didn't explain the process to me, and was rude to my friend. Granted everything was clean but while he was working other coworkers in the shop were distracting him by having him look at Facebook posts and whatknot. Maybe when management is there the customer service is better but it wasn't good when I went it. Also I had to run my own card on the credit card machine because for some unknown reason Rhett didn't know how! He also wasn't prepared for me even though I had an appointment and made me wait while he smoked a cigarette. my tattoo came out decent but I'm going to go get it touched up by Irumez and all get my piercing there. Not a horrible experience but I would not recommend Rhett as my artists of choice.

Madison Monk is the BEST: Uber friendly, down-to-earth, and super sweet, she talked me through a piercing and made me feel completely at ease. And, they're the cheapest around. How freakin' sweet is that? If I find more things to pierce, it's done by Madison from now on.

Went to JOHN MONK specifically and was very pleased with the outcome. REVELATIONS is a classy place for a tattoo shop clean and organized and the staff very polite and friendly. I had my 'HOOD' piercing done here. Shawn did the piercing for me; he was RESPECTFUL and VERY professional. He spent time going over after care with me and what to expect ect.

The shop was VERY clean and the other staff there was GREAT as well.

I have no other piercings or tattoo's and no plans for any. IF I change my mind I will return here and plan to buy the jewelry for the one I do have. If your thinking of having work done go in and check them out!
