I have been going to this shop for over 10 years I am always satisfied with my results I can also tell by looking at someone else's braids that went somewhere else that they did not visit this shop because the braids are very sloppy with hairs coming out..the owner of the shop never let's a customer leave if the work is not perfect and from what I've seen she really doesn't have to say much because she has experienced braiders that take their job very seriously.I would recommend this place to everyone I know they are the best braids in Kansas city hands down..if you go any where else your braids will not look like you got them done on 54th and troost...the best in Kansas city

Messed around and went on 55th and Troost where the broad put 2 goddess braids in my natural hair knowing it wasn't going to look good or hold. "That's what you asked for," she said. If I had 3 hairs on top of my head and asked for micros was she going to try and make that work?..smh..then all the other stylists let me walk out without saying one word about..I can't trust any of them now..PS..the final touch.. she put half a jar of Eco black gel in my hair..it flaked all up. So thanks Anna Africa Hair Braiding..you showed up and showed out.. See you real soon..peace

Very poor customer service skills these ladies are very rude upon entering the salon what are you getting are do you know what you want Instead of staying welcome to Nimann African Braiding how may we help you today would be more professional. Also the place could be a lot cleaner and more organized with better seating while they love to have customer's waiting for a long time. Don't bother making an early morning appointment they do not open the shop on time and when they do they don't start braiding your hair on time or takes longer because of all the stylist are joking around, talking, sitting or working on other customers hair. Overall these ladies does a very good job on braiding just a few areas that needs to improve when it comes to good paying customers keeping this place in business.

You do not get what you want. The first time I went here to get my hair corned rowed I go what I wanted the second time I did not I went back again and told them what I wanted she started braiding but the front was twisted and she had done like 6 braids I said that was not what I wanted but let them finish. This time I showed a picture of how my hair was done the first time said that was what I wanted. She said ok But again I got what they wanted my hair looks nothing like the picture. I have knots on the front of my braids they are big and to much space between them. I will not be going back. what I paid for I did not get. If they did not want to do my hair the way I asked they should have said so and I could have gone some place else. I will say the first time I got what I asked for. Why ask how I want my hair and for a picture if you are not even going to come close to what the picture looks like or what I want. Ask for a mirror so you can watch and ensure it is what you want .

I've been coming to this shop for the past few years and I always leave feeling satisfied! I live out of town and if I want my hair braided I wait until I'm going back to Kansas City to get my hair braided by the ladies at Nimann African hair braiding

I called and asked if they were accepting walking and she said yes. I got there and they were packed and she took me after 20 minutes. Half way through my head she stopped and took 2 people then she rushed to finish my head so she could get the 20 people in who were waiting. After a few days braids started looking horrible and I got tree braids done and you can see all the braids it doesn't look natural. I will NEVER go back

My experience was horrible, they did half of my head then stopped half way through. No one was on my head for two hours while others had two or three people on their heads. I will never again go to this shop.

This the best braiding shop in town and i love it. They always do a great job and they don't even take time. They are fasst and always give you what you want. We all know that short hair take time because it is not long enought to grab it. Nimann always tell her customers that if you have short hair , it will take longerr time and there is no garanty that it will last, u might loose some braid as far u go and honnestly, from many people i know , it never failed down. Also we all know it is a braiding shop, are we expecting to see the place neat . No matter what happen , it still gonna have some hair on the floor. Overall, they are best, If you are in KC and you want your braided, stop by nimann African braiding on trrost, they will hook u up and i promise you , u will be happy. they all are really friendly people and really care about their customers.

I Have came here over 6 times I have never had any problems

I have been to this place twice. And both times I was not satisfied with theri work. For one they are not very friendly. The first time I went for micros and it was ok but they took way longer than what was said over the phone and I have short hair so it should not have taken ten hgours to braid my hair. I went the second time to get nubian twist and the girl told me that out of the two things of hair that I had brought with me that I had gotten the wrong one. Which was funny because I had some one with experience come with me to buy the hair and on the packinng it clearly stated that it was for Nubian twist so I had to buy some hair from them instead, not to mention that she was goign to argue with me about it also. Finally they do not keep the place very clean, hair all over the floor and both times right after I had left I had braids come out!!. But they can braid I will give them that but it is not the greatest. I would save my ,money and go else where.

Nimann African on 5439 Troost they can not braid hair......and if you a appoinment they will ring your phone off the hook.....after all that i went in and braids were coming out the next day.....Indep Ave do them good.......
