I took my vehicle in for standard oil change and tire rotation. After leaving I noticed the vehicle had lost power. Thinking it was something warranty related I took it to the dealer and they found the box containing the air filter was not closed properly. I had to pay $109 for the diagnostic fee at the dealer because it was not covered under warranty. I took the bill to Kwik Kar to allow them a chance to prove they provide good customer service and they told me for warranty related issues I was to bring the vehicle to them. My vehicle is not covered under warranty by Kwik Kar and it wasn't a warranty issue. It was a mistake on their behalf. I will never take my vehicle back to them and advise others to be careful when doing business with them. Apparently I am only one customer and they weren't concerned about losing me.

I have used this place for inspections and brake service before (took my own brakes though). I thought they were a reasonably priced service center UNTIL I needed my transmission fluid changed. I took MY OWN fluids and they charged me $100.00 for the labor!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE.

I realize this is my fault because I did not ask what pricing was before I said ok to the service, but their claim to be less than the dealerships is FALSE. Jay Wolfe would have charged me $84.95-$94.95 with labor AND fluids. I have learned a lesson the hard way and I hoping those that read this will learn from my mistake. This place is HIGH HIGH HIGH and are NOT willing to work with you on pricing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Kwik Kar is THE GREATEST!! I recently moved from the Northland to South KC. I was quickly approaching the date in which I needed to get my tags renewed on my car. I called Kwik Kar on a Monday morning and asked for an appointment that day as early as possible for an inspection and to get my tire patched. They were so nice and told me 10:30 was the earliest (while apologizing that there wasn't something sooner.) I was more than thrilled. I got some errands done that morning and showed up at 10:15 for my appointment. Knowing I was early and they looked quite busy I anticipated a wait time of about an hour to an hour and 30 min. I was IN AND OUT in under 45 min.



While I was in the waiting area I was speaking with a gentleman who had been taking his car there for 6 years. It's so nice to know there are still QUALITY companies providing QUALITY customer service. I will absolutely continue to take my car here even though I have to drive the extra 30+ minutes to get there. They have 100% earned my business and I'm VERY picky when it comes to my car.

Horrible service!! Charged $80 for an unnecessary diagnostic and the morons tried to charge over $300 to rig up my ignition to start with a Screw Driver!!

You did a great job, didn't take too long. Will be back for the front license plate rack. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

It's funny reading all the people complaining about the shop an things there were charged for. If you took care of your car like the dealer says then it won't break down an you won't get stuck paying a big bill to fix the problem you caused in the first place. Plan an simple change your oil on time an the other services that should be done at the right mileage an it won't happen. An no one is forced to buy anything it is offered to the owner an is totally up to them on what they want to do. An a trans flush for $9.95 that's funny no shop any where offers that for $10 next time listen alil better. If it's that big of a problem then do the own work on your car an you won't have to worry about someone scamming you or fixing your problem with YOUR CAR!!

Great service at this shop. I had to take in my car because the battery had gone bad. They diagnosed it and noticed it was my alternator causing the problem. Installed a new alternator recharged my battery and I was off. I see other complaints but don't understand how come. These guys are very nice.

cars lined up to the street when i arrived. all services were done in a prompt matter of time. no appointment needed which was very convenient. my new one stop auto shop.

Pretty fast service and cheap too!

I took my car in for an inspection in july. They told me I needed a new tire and 2 new tie rods in order to pass. I said ok. Ten minutes after I left the shop, my car overheated which it had never done before. after I had it towed back, they told me it was the radiator which would cost me another $300. I told them to go ahead and replace the radiator because I had to have a vehicle. They said the thermistat may also need to be replaced. I told them not to replace the thermostat. The next day found out they had replaced the thermostat anyway and charged me for it. Took my car home and it was still overheating. Took it back in. they said it must be the fan which cost me another $400. After that was replaced, it was still overheating. Then they told me it must be a clogged heater core so they bypassed it. When I was talking to the mechanic, he told me that he knew the whole time that it was the heater core but was told by the owner to do the other stuff. What made me more insensed was that they tried to buy my broken car for $250 and tried to sell me another car. I will never go back here and I recommend no one go there ever.

Great Service, Friendly Staff. The staff is super friendly and my car leaks oil so I am always getting "topped off" in between oil changes-which is a free service. I really appreciate how fast, efficient and friendly this place of business is. I will continue to do business here.

Went in for 10min oil and got just that. Beautiful cat in the waiting room. Also found a $7 off coupon in valpak. The place is family owned and operated which I really liked. See u all in 3,000 miles.
