I've always enjoyed live theater in Kansas City - especially smaller, more intimate venues. Just Off Broadway has hosted several great shows from various groups over the years and I really liked the variety and the cool setting. If you haven't been before, it's in the theatre surrounded by the limestone facade of the old 1910 Parks and Rec. building. It feels like Greek ruins or something - kind of a neat theater setting!

I guess they are reopening the theater in the fall (renovations and new construction). I'm looking forward to the new shows this year! I can't wait to go again. Not too hard to find - down in Penn Valley Park - kind of in the valley East of the old BMA Tower.
