Nice on the phone, everything is great until a repairman from Del's shows up everything is downhill from there. First of all he doesn't know the difference between a refrigerator and a dog turd. First doesn't have right part but says let me try this,no good, wait a minute I'll try this,no good. This went on for at least two hours and no luck with anything. Now he's computing his service call charge. Anyway all they got to do was waste two hours of my time, not a dime and left my refrigerator in worse shape than when he entered my home. Before you even think about calling DELS to fix anything give your 2 year old a hammer and give them a shot. It could not be any worse. Minus a trillion stars

I was so pleased with the prompt service and professionalism from the front office and serviceman. They went beyond all expectations and would call them again.

I have to agree with Angela. Del's is awful. I had them do my AC repair and the 1st guy they sent out was not even an installer. They charged me for work the that wasn't done which was attested to by two other techs who came accessed what went wrong and then one of them eventually fixed it. So it took them two weeks the 1st time to get me fixed up off of a warranty claim and then when it failed I was down for almost two weeks again. I was told several time by them they would refund some of my money for the crappy work they did but in the end I got no refund as promised. The thing that even got me even worse was I told them it was broke the second time, but somehow they got their wires crossed when the coil did not come in the 2nd time and marked me off as fixed. When I called back they asked me how my ac was doing and I said its not fixed yet, you never came out because of parts. Then they ordered a part, the wrong part came in and the tech guy had to call all over to find one and get to the house and get it fixed. I will never ever call them again for service unless it's to fix what they already did. I have always used Top Notch in the past and they have been 100% any time they have come to my house.

An awful experience. Ddoes not follow ethical practices. Once contracted will delay repair and claim reasons that are not valid for delay. Very disrespectful. If your repair is not significant $, will be a long wait.

Well to get started, Dels Heating and cooling in Adrian, MO came out and gave us an estimate and we had old duct work with some issues that needed to be fixed and they said that it was no problem and they would take care of it when they came out and put in our brand new Central AC unit this was a Wednesday, and they said that they would be out the following Monday and install our new unit! Mind you that we have already paid for this to happen! I get a call on Friday saying they can't fix the issues with our duct work and we would have to do it ourselves, AFTER THEY SAID THEY COULD DO IT WITH NO PROBLEM! So we as the homeowners took care of the problem so they came out and installed the unit, which they gave us an okay deal on a new furnace because they said ours was outdated! That's fine so we paid the extra money for the new furnace! Jump forward less then two months later the AC is hardley blowing any cold air and my husband could not figure it out she he went under the house to find that our Acoil is frozen solid which should not be that way since it was just installed because!

Should like a bunch of ninneys, you pay for knowledge not parts plus they are a retail, not wholesale, parts and service provider. Sears charges 89.00 each time they come out if they have the part or not. Dels charges flat rates on repairs according to the job,not hourly. Some one had to pay the gas, insurance, wages, shipping of parts, wages, etc... and of course it is passed down to us, the customer.... oh yeah plus you will pay a little more for the warranty on their parts, cause when i bought apart online it was cheaper but not guaranteed, with dels its always guaranteed...since 64' and still kickin... thanks dels i stand behind you and continue to use you on my properties.... sounding off you ninnies....

Scam!

My husband went to purchase a part for our furnace Saturday. The guy behind th counter first tried to charge $89 for the part, when my husband told him that he knew it was a $30 part the guy brought the price down to $49. My husband only said yes to that price because they were the only heating & cooking place open on Sarurday. My husband also asked the guy if he could return the part if it did not work. The guy once again told him that he could return the part, after the guy took the "used" part from my husband to match the "new" part the guy loses our part. The owner shows up & advises that once the part we paid for is opened we CANNOT return it. My husband advised the so called owner that his employee told him that he could return the part. I feel that this business is nothing but a scam in South Kansas City area. They Price gouge, lose parts & lie for a sale!

someone came and looked at my ...

someone came and looked at my Washing machine today a we were having trouble with the last cycle of the washer. When i initally called he told me it coule be up to about 180 (which is almost the most i would be if it was the worst case senario). he came and looked at it (one good thing he was on time). He told us the was the Door lock problem (which was the best case senario according to the guy on the phone 2 days earlier). He then told us it would be about 190 total. WOW, best case senario and it was just as much as the worst case senario. so he tells us the part needed would be 84.79 for the peice (Which I just bought it for 35 online a little bit ago) and another 40 for labor when he came back to do it, he said it would take him 15 mins. I said so 40 dollar for 15 mins?.....must be making good money. and that was after the 50 dollar fee for coming to look at the washer (they are 4 miles away from our house). do Not recommend. I ordered the part online and will do it myself....

I went to Del's to buy a dryer and have been very pleased with the way it has run since I bought it. The day that I bought it the belt came loose an employee from Del's came out that day fixed the belt at no fee and said if I ever had any other problems to call him and he would come fix it at a reasonable fee.

Wonderful!

Dels is great! Len, the owner, came to my home on a Sunday night after I returned home to find my house at 55 degrees. He did a fantastic job and was quick, efficient and friendly! In comparing prices for DIY it found it to be very comparable. I will definitely be using Dels in the future when I look to purchase a new HVAC, but thanks to Dels that won’t be too soon!
